WEBINAR
20th November 2024 15:00–16:00 CET
Complementary techniques for biophysical characterization of peptides and protein-based drug products
About the event
In early research and development of peptide and new protein- based drug products, the combination of biophysical and structural properties is used to inform rational design of stable pharmaceutical formulation. In this webinar, we will share how Small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) complemented with other scattering methods allows detailed investigation of protein and peptide behaviour across various sample conditions, and can be used to inform triaging of lead candidates or to optimise formulation conditions.
Sign in and learn how Novo Nordisk is combining Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) with Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) and Size-Exclusion Chromatography Multi-Angle Light Scattering (SEC-MALS) to better understand peptide population distribution and study agglomeration.
Who should attend?
Scientists and researchers interested in stability of biopharmaceuticals, such as peptides.
What will you learn?
Learn how to better understand peptide population distributions and agglomeration tendencies Understand how SAXS and SEC-MALS can overcome the limitations of DLS, particularly in studying peptide aggregation and distribution across different populations.
