Abstract

A facile top-pining controlled dewetting strategy is developed to fabricate patterned polymeric 1D micro/nanostructures. Large-scaled polymer-poly[4-(4,4-dihexadecyl-4H-cyclopenta[1,2-b:5,4-b′]dithiophen-2-yl)-alt-[1,2,5] [3,4-c]pyridine] microwire arrays with mobility up to 29.0 cm2 V−1 s−1 are fabricated. The devices show excellent electrical stability in ambient conditions. This work paves the way for fabricating large-area, high-performance, and low-cost 1D micro/nanostructures in organic field-effect transistors and other electronic devices.
