With the Xenocs Couette stage for shearSAXS, you can achieve a better understanding of materials’ macroscopic properties with in-situ characterization of their deformation under controlled shear.
The stage is available for the Xeuss 3.0 instrument and is designed to handle both liquids and viscous samples under high shear rates during X-ray measurements.
Shearing experiments can be made over a broad viscosity range. Sample loading is smooth and low sample volumes are required.
Examples of applications include the analysis of shear-induced ordering or deformation of colloids, studies on how advanced nanomaterials orient under flow and defining temperature phase diagrams under specific flow conditions.
